About us
We graduated from RI and HCI in 2023. During our time in JC, we developed a strong passion for Biology. To us, H2 Biology wasn't just another subject—it was a lens through which we could understand how different systems function and interact in harmony. This deep interest inspired us to share our knowledge with the next generation of students. More importantly, we hope to pass on our enthusiasm for the subject and help others discover the same joy we found in learning Biology so that achieving your A won't be as tedious.
Our pedagorgy
Concise and suffice
We understand that you want to achieve your 70RP optimally, and you have a daunting GP subject to score in!
That's why we aim to make our resources concise but also sufficient for you to get your A in H2 Bio.
Our notes are full of keywords, application questions and common misconceptions - everything you need to know before your exam!
The BIO method
At Synapse, we use a 3-step framework to teaching students:
1. Background knowledge they should know about the topic contents
2. Inquiry where they appreciate the concepts and beauty of nature
3. Outlook where students reflect on potential applications of this topic to other topics!
Effective practise and feedback
Along with tutorials with past TYS questions, we also conduct mock tests to see your level of understanding of a topic.
We also have a repetoire of Cambridge questions that we sneakily copy for our own internal exams!
